Graduate Certificate And Graduate Diploma

What are Graduate Awards: Graduate Certificate and Graduate Diploma, also called Postgraduate Certificate and Diploma?

From an academic perspective, Graduate Awards sit between the Bachelors and a Masters degree. We offer the Graduate Certificate and Graduate Diploma, by distance education, for those who have achieved a Bachelors in theology and wish to continue to study but cannot undertake the rigours or costs of the Master’s degree.

While the studies are undertaken through our college, the Graduate Awards are issued through the Texas University of Theology.

Many students who continue their education will progress from a Bachelors to a Masters degree;  it is the most natural progression for students, it is entirely proper to do so.   It should be noted that the Master’s degree requires much more research, the student must source much more of their study material.  It is a departure from the previous award levels where we provide all the study material as a part of the student fees.

This change in style and pace is not appropriate or possible for many students who still desire to continue their studies.  For students who cannot do the Master’s program, the Graduate Awards are an ideal solution to their study needs.  The student continues to study, works with familiar material and gains legitimate awards.  The graduate awards are less costly than the Masters and more flexible in application.  After all, the scripture is clear that we should never cease to learn.

Study earnestly to present yourself approved to God, a workman that does not need to be ashamed,
rightly dividing the Word of Truth. But shun profane, vain babblings,
for they will increase to more ungodliness.

2Timothy 2:15-16

Simon Peter, a bondservant and apostle of Jesus Christ, To those who have obtained like precious faith with us by the righteousness of our God and Savior Jesus Christ: Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord, as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue, by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. But also for this very reason, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue, to virtue knowledge, to knowledge self-control, to self-control perseverance, to perseverance godliness, to godliness brotherly kindness, and to brotherly kindness love. For if these things are yours and abound, you will be neither barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
