Vision Colleges Taster Programme
The Taster Programme is your opportunity to discover for yourself the quality, strength and benefits of Vision Colleges to the local church. Our Taster program is a great way to introduce Vision Colleges to your congregation without committing to anything. Just taste and see if Vision Colleges is good.
No greater responsibility has been given to the church than training and equipping men and women for ministry. After all, Jesus himself said, “Go and make disciples!” not converts, but… DISCIPLES. There is no surer way to grow your church than to train men and women – and release them into ministry.
How can you be sure that Vision Colleges is right for you?
We recognise that is it so important to have confidence in the team you work with, and at the same time, we are confident in what we have to offer.
In our view, we should be in the background, a “silent partner”, so to speak. We do not impose our will on you or your ministry. We are there to help you fulfil the vision God has given you. We provide the materials, and you present them. We do the marking and issue awards and ensure that the recognition and accreditation are in place.
You teach and present the material in the manner best suited to your situation for your people with your team.
To this end, we invite you, your ministry team and your church to try us, test out our “Taster Program” to “taste us”, there is no obligation, but we are sure you will be delighted with what we have to offer.
To paraphrase the psalmist – “Oh taste and see that Vision Colleges are good…”
O taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man that trusts in him.
How Do We Start A Taster Programme?
First, present the concept of the Bible College to your church and see who may be interested in a trial of the college. Then, contact the office and select a subject you would like to teach from the Vision curriculum. You only need as few as 5 to formally start a college with us.
For one month, you present the subject, just as you would if you had set up a campus in your church. During this time, the students are encouraged to study and complete the assignment as if they were students.
Submit the completed exams to Vision College at the end of the month for assessment, and we will return the results as soon as possible.
Discuss the program with your students. If they do not want to proceed, there is nothing more to do. If they decide this is their college, complete the Resource Centre Application Form and Covenant Agreement. The students complete the application form, and you order your next subject.
If you decide not to continue, then you have taught an excellent subject, your members have been enriched, all of the students will have a textbook – everyone benefits.
