Managing Ministry

CHCORG609D - Manage projects and strategies Vision CollegesCHCORG609D - Manage projects and strategies

While we think of churches, correctly, in a spiritual sense there is also a need to realise that the church is a business.  We are in the business, like any community service, of helping people.

To help them we have to collect money and spend it, we have to keep records and we are accountable to government bodies, boards of directors, membership and then there is the law.  We have to promote and be involved in marketing and a plethora of different issues that clearly define the fact we are ... after all a business as well as being a spiritual entitity.  We need the same skilles as any other business to survive and to grow.  This subject will help us to address some of those many issues.
